Southern Cayuga Instant Aid will host “Heroin in Cayuga County” Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the ambulance station, 2530 State Route 34B in Poplar Ridge. The presentation by Heroin Epidemic Action League (HEAL), a heroin awareness group, starts at 7:00 pm and is free and open to the public.
The event features several speakers including representatives from the medical, law enforcement, and EMS communities, concerned families, and community awareness groups. There will also be a question and answer session.
